ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Hi! I am Heather. I’m a working mom of two children, ages 8 and 9, and a wife of 11 years, married to my best friend and high school sweetheart. I’m creating this site because I am preparing to publish my first novel. I have always enjoyed writing and other creative expression including painting, singing and modeling. A long time ago, I decided that I would try my hand at the written word while reading Orwell’s “Why I Write”. Because of his work, I believe that sometimes a consequential message can be communicated through fiction. I began my efforts at the start of the pandemic, using reality as inspiration.
